Preservation Services advances the Library's mission by ensuring that information resources are available for use by current and future students, faculty, and scholars. We prepare, conserve, bind, reformat, and digitize, as well as provide environmental monitoring and disaster recovery services.
Preservation Services was created in 1994 and is one of four departments reporting to David Seaman, the Associate Librarian for Information Management. Barb Sagraves is head of Preservation Services and Deborah Howe the Collections Conservator.
